Casa Sant Andreu

A couple purchased this typical row house in the outskirts of Barcelona with the idea of painting and moving in.  As the project progressed it was clear that to achieve the level of efficiency desired by the client and to maximize the potential of the space, it needed a complete remodel.  By glazing the entire back wall, needed light was brought into the living area.  The basement became a cozy office / playroom with the addition of large skylights spanning from wall to wall.  By creatively utilizing all available space and connecting to adjacent outdoor living areas, we created a generous home within a very slim envelope.
